Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

What a great time of the year. Lots of good food, spending time with the family and friends, giving gifts, lazing around (when not franticly shopping)... I love Christmas. My Christmas has been super so far. The flight home wasn't great. It was long and my flight to Montreal (I had a stopover there) smelt disgusting... but I got home finally. I love my family, they're so weird and so much fun. We all get along great (most of the time). Had a great dinner today. I'm so full right now... but content. Now just taking a break from the noise of hyper children and then back to the visiting.
I suggest you all go and see the Nativity Story. It will give you a fresh new persepctive on the christmas story. It was really cool to imagine what Mary and Joseph must have gone through. Can you imagine? Being pregnant with God!!! And all the public scandal with being pregnant before marriage. And the long journey to Bethlehem. And the shepherds and wise men... what a cool story. We've all heard it so many times, it's nice to revisit it in a new way.
So anyway, I hope you all have a very blessed holiday season. Remember the amazing reason for this season- God becoming a little baby in a lowly stable. Wow. May that same God bless you in whatever you do this christmas and in the new year.

Study Break

I'm updating my blog because I'm sick of studying. Okay... I haven't really started yet, but either way... I'm taking a break. Life is good. That's what I needed to say. I'm having a great time out here in Ontario. Lately because everyone is tweaking out from too much school, things have been quite random and a lot of fun. Lots of intense fooseball and ping pong. Puddle jumping. Snowball fights. Random conversations. Late nights. I really am having the time of my life. There is the impending doom of exams looming on the horizon, but I don't think I really care. Well, I do, but not enough to worry, and I'm beginning to realize the importance of life experiences and making memories over getting A's. Heck, I don't want a job, I just want to get married! Here's some pictures from the past weeks that I never got around to posting:

Hey look!!! It's me in a freshly dug grave!
I have a lot of pictures of matt being retarded. I love this one:
Puddle jumping pictures!!!!

Dorm Picture after our secret santa:
Here's a picture of the guys who always make my life interesting (minus Tim). Tim's dorm is really great this year. They're all a lot of fun and just all around super guys. If you want to see some normal pictures or profiles, check out Tim's blog.

Yes...with good times and great music such as Raining in Baltimore by the Counting Crows and 9 crimes by Damien Rice... life is great.

...except now I'm pissed off because I just read the crown (Redeemer's paper), and they changed the title of my article from the eye catching "So, You Say Your Pro-Life...", to the truly homosexual "Why I'm "Pro-Life" For Life". sigh...

first snow fall and an epic fight

It snowed, finally. The snow took so long in coming that when it actually came it was quite a shock. I walked outside and ... "what?!?!? holy crap! everything's white!!!" Very unexpected. With the first snow fall must come the first snow ball fight, and what a fight it was. I had been abnormally tired all day, but the bed time got pushed from the desired 11:00 to about 3. You've got to make sacrifices for things such as snowball fights. With a initial barrage of the enemy headquarters, a very low retaliation with buckets of water by the said enemy, more barrage, infiltration into the headquarters, a hostage taken and tortured, buckets of snow inside both bases (mostly ours), and finally all-out war in the streets... it was a snowball fight of epic proportions. Peace was made in the end, and the night finished with friendly banter over hot chocolate.
