AWESOME!!!

So, I went to a Death Cab for Cutie concert in Toronto yesterday and it was AWESOME!!! I honestly have no words to describe how amazing it was. I was in awe pretty much the whole time and when I came out my jaw hurt from smiling so much. It was one of the best nights of my life, and I'm not even exaggerating. Death Cab makes such a good concert because you can actually understand what the singer is saying; it's not loud and obnoxious. And Ben Gibbard is so talented! He has a wicked voice, and he played the guitar, the piano, and... the drums for one of the songs!!! The other guitarist and back-up vocalist, Chris Walla, also played the piano, and for one of the songs he and the bassist switched guitars and they played eachother's! And their songs are just simply incredible! I wish I could live that night over. Here's some pictures (taken by Tim, he was closer- him, Josh, Brenda, and James were in like the 5th row (something like that) and Sonja, Jared, Terry, and I were in the 10th row):

Robyn needs...

I got this from Katrina's blog: go on google and type "_______ (your name) needs" You'll be surprised what comes up. Here's what I got:
"Robyn needs to feel What is Above and not be afraid that It is an enemy" (ummm... ya... i don't know)
ROBYN NEEDS TO GET SOME: SINGLE MEN WITH BEARDS APPLY ONLY! (apparently I like men with beards... and "getting some")
Robyn needs to get in touch with what is above the brows (what... my forehead?)
Robyn needs all the help she can get (ya probably)
Robyn needs help finding some great fabric (apparently I'm becoming a seamstress, i better learn how to sew first)
Robyn needs to contend with male teasing and often sheer paternal chauvinism and sexual harassment (not true- don't worry)
Robyn needs advice on covering their boiler (ya, please give me some advice... I have no idea how to cover my boiler)
Robyn Needs a Professional Spa Day (sounds good)

Also... I just watched a really great movie that you all NEED to watch. It's called "the Power of One". It's about an English boy during the beginning of the aparteid in South Africa. It honestly is one of the best movie's i've watched. It was really well done and really powerful.

Thanksgiving Week-End

I had a great thanksgiving weekend. It was beautiful weather so Sonja and I went to the Royal Botanical Gardens and went for a hike in the Dundas valley conservation area, we needed to take advantage of the last warm days before the bitter cold of winter. It's hard to believe these beautiful areas exist- like small oasises (oasi?) in the midst of the soot and grime of Hamilton. They were really amazing. Here's some pictures- I took a ton, so please bear with me, though I would have had more if my camera wasn't full. Don't worry, I won't post them all....

okay.... so blogger is being retarded and won't let me add any more pictures, so here's a few of them (a very small few). The rest will come... sometime. Maybe God is trying to tell me to listen in class... Okay, Okay, I'll listen to the boring religion prof instead of updating my blog.
